Dr. Alok Srivastava is Associate Professor of Managerial Sciences in Business Analysis at the   Robinson College of Business, Georgia State University. During his tenure at GSU (since 1986), he has taught several courses in Decision Support Systems, Applied Decision Sciences, Data Analysis, and Strategic Planning (MBA, MS, and PhD programs). All of these courses deal with development of various applications of decision support technologies for corporate performance management.  

Srivastava's research and projects have focused on development of applications for Strategic Planning, Business Process Improvement and Corporate Training. Such projects have resulted in the development of several innovative and integrative systems that utilize emerging technologies. His research approach is highly "applications" oriented that brings about synergy across functional and multidisciplinary areas. A significant part of his work has been devoted to developing artificial intelligence applications for corporate training systems. He has authored and coauthored over forty articles and two books. His publications have appeared in journals like Journal of Business Strategies, Journal of Computer Information Systems, Industrial Management, Journal of Global Business, and Journal of Management Systems.

Alok Srivastava holds a PhD in Industrial Management and a BE in Electrical Engineering.
